She Fled with Her Children and What She Could Carry—We Helped with the Rest

To protect the privacy of the mother and her children, we are keeping their names and photos confidential.
Every once in a while, a story comes across our desks that reminds us exactly why Mom Bomb Giving exists. This is one of those stories.
A mother reached out to us in crisis. She and her three children were no longer safe in their home. The person who was supposed to protect them—her ex—had become the source of fear. With nothing but the courage she could carry and the belongings she could hold, she fled with her children to seek safety.
In her words:
“I hate having to put my children in this situation, but if we didn’t leave, I don’t think I would be here today.”
Since leaving, she and her children have moved from shelter to shelter, trying to find stability in a time of total upheaval. Supplies ran out quickly. She didn’t have money for diapers and had been using feminine pads and towels to get by.
No mother should have to make that choice.
When she reached out to Mom Bomb, we knew we had to find a way to help—even if the situation was logistically complicated. With the family frequently relocating, it wasn’t as simple as sending meals to one address. But that only made us more determined.
We worked hard to figure out a solution and were able to get meals delivered to support this brave mom and her three children. It was just one piece of relief—but for a family in survival mode, even a single moment of stability matters deeply.
She told us again and again:
“Thank you so, so, so much!”
And truly, we thank her—for her bravery, her love, and her trust.
Stories like this are only made possible through the generosity of our community. Every Mom Bomb product sold, every dollar donated to MomBomb.org, fuels services for mothers facing unimaginable situations—mothers who are doing everything they can to protect their children, even if it means starting over with nothing but faith and fight.
