When Asking for Help Feels Impossible—We Showed Up for Alison

Because Even Supermoms Need Support: How We Helped Alison

Sometimes, the mothers who need help the most are the least able to ask for it.

That was the case with Alison—a mother of an 18-month-old son with a feeding tube, sleep struggles, and several undiagnosed medical challenges. Her days (and nights) are filled with care, worry, and a level of exhaustion most can’t begin to understand.

She didn’t come to us herself. An advocate did.

And we’re so grateful they did.

Because while Alison was doing everything in her power to keep her little boy safe and cared for, the world around her—like many mothers in crisis—started to pile up. Laundry. Dishes. Dust. The little things that become overwhelming when your energy is already gone.

Mom Bomb Giving stepped in with professional cleaning services—a small offering with a huge impact. A reset. A breath. A moment of peace.

“As a struggling mother, I know how appreciative I am of just anyone even saying ‘how’s it going’ or offering something small like dropping off a coffee,” Alison shared.“The actual services and cost offered by Mom Bomb is overwhelmingly gracious. I feel as moms we already struggle to ask for help—and being given an opportunity for support to allow us to focus on the situation at home and reduce some stress is just wonderful.”

At Mom Bomb Giving, this is our purpose. We help when it’s hard to ask. We lighten the load when life is too heavy. And we do it thanks to those who buy Mom Bomb products, donate, or support our mission in any way.

For Alison and mothers like her, this isn’t just about cleaning services. It’s about being seen. Being supported. Being reminded that they don’t have to do it all alone.

Because even the strongest moms deserve backup.
